Better known to us all simply as Omar, we will finally get the chance to listen to all his classics on one release.

On January 31, Freestyle Records will present us with "Omar...the Anthology".

As you can tell from the title, it features some of his classic collaborations, as well as some previously unheard tracks.

Amongst these is the wonderful "Pass It On" featuring Terri Walker, and "Long Time Coming".

No collection would be complete, however, without Omar's masterpiece, the worldwide anthem "There's Nothing Like This."

There's also the dancefloor destroying banger that is "It's So".

Over the years Omar has perfected his unique sound.

So much so that within seconds of listening to any of his songs, you know within seconds it is him singing - a stamp of true originality.
