Get ready to hear the music of Aretha Franklin performed live by the Soul Pilgrims – an acclaimed 8 piece featuring real Hammond organ, a “majestic horn section” (Blues & Soul), and leading London soul singer Lisa Grand.
You’ll hear Aretha hits such as ‘Respect’, ‘I Say a Little Prayer’, ‘Think’, ‘Natural Woman’, and ‘I Never Loved a Man’, alongside legendary songs and arrangements from Aretha Franklin’s most celebrated live album, Aretha Live at the Fillmore West.
Soul Pilgrims are originally formed and conceived by members of the Jezebel Sextet, who’ve been performing sold out shows at London’s Jazz Café for almost 20 years!

Featuring Lisa Grand on vocals , acclaimed London 8 piece, the Soul Pilgrims deliver a truly authentic sound, powered by Hammond organ, three-piece horn section and deep feelgood grooves.

Formed by members of the Jezebel Sextet, who have performed sold-out shows at London’s Jazz Café for almost 20 years, they bring decades of live experience with credits including the Jazz Café, KOKO, 100 Club, Ronnie Scott’s, the Royal Albert Hall and Glastonbury.
About Lisa Grand
Lisa Grand is a London singer-songwriter and musician who’s written hundreds of original songs including ‘Sauce’ featuring New York rapper Cokah (Wonda Music). She’s sung live on BBC Radio London for Carrie and David Grant and toured the UK and Canada. She wrote and produced her debut EP Paper Airplanes in 2019 and has performed at the Jazz Cafe, 606 Club, Surround Sounds Festival, Caffe Concerto and Soul Stripped Sessions in London, Comedia (Brighton), and Lula Lounge (Toronto).
