Superfly Goes Stateside!

Pete Brady has long been the main 'Face' in the crowd on the funk and soul scene on these shores.

Now he's just taken the superb Superfly brand across the globe, from Belfast to Brooklyn in fact!
Yep, Pete's unmissable show is now a regular feature on the brilliant Face Radio station in the United States of America no less.
This sensational Stateside opportunity has been a year in the making after lengthy discussions with the legendary Kurtis Powers.
"Kurtis and I have chatted about this for quite a while now, so it's fantastic to eventually join the ranks of such a progressive, forward-thinking station. My time with Belfast Underground is something I'll always look back on with great fondness but it's pretty exciting to now have this opportunity to bring my show to a new audience. Expect to hear some classic funk and soul but my main focus will always be that of bringing new music to my listeners."
Pete's two hour show debuted last week and, not surprisingly, went down a storm with the US listeners.
It was full of everything Superfly regulars have come to expect... quality funk and soul tunes and the host's total professionalism.
Not being biased but we've always felt Pete is a natural and his style and voice is perfect for radio (we could say he has a face for radio too! Lol).
In all seriousness, though, this is a well deserved chance for Pete to showcase his skills to a massive audience.
Hopefully it opens further doors because if you haven't yet sampled the outstanding radio shows and club nights, then you don't know what you're missing.
Superfly is going places.
From Belfast to Brooklyn.
It's just the beginning!
Pete's next show goes out Tuesday 2nd June from 4-6pm EST and 9-11pm BST and is a fortnightly show.
Catch up is available from www.thefaceradio.com, plus on Soundcloud and Mixcloud too.
