New 45, In The Rain

ACID JAZZ Records has a brand new offering for it's fans.

Never afraid to push the boundaries, this latest release features the legendary Derrick Harriot with Los Aggrotones.

Los Aggrotones are an instrumental and experimental early reggae band originating from Argentina led by Kevin Fingier.

The band have released four albums since forming in 2011, having worked with Jamaican legends from the 60's including Derrick Harriott, Freddie Notes & Pat Kelly along with many others along the way.

The bands latest single, ‘In The Rain' , features long term friend and reggae legend Derrick Harriott on vocals.

The track experiments in many ways to create a unique sound, with the band using new instruments they had never recorded with before.

The song is inspired by the Billy Wooten version of ‘In The Rain’, which led to them including a Vibraphone in the song.

“This song certainly became our favourite of the album for all these things. Derrick Harriott finally sings In The Rain, over a heavy dub riddim with a vibraphone and a Rhodes the classy sound that a song like this and a singer like this deserve.
