Finnish multi-dimensional artist Jimi Tenor is back with a new 7" on Philophon to announce the upcoming album ‘Aulos’, (October 2020).
On 'Sugar And Spice' the artist is joined by Ghanaian drummer Ekow Alabi and German producer Max Weissenfeldt.
'Sugar And Spice' is the perfect summer hit for all jazz, boogie, soul and Afrobeat lovers. A bouncy bass with hip chords, sharp horns, sweet vocals and Ekow's rolling beat are the key ingredients of this song.
On the flipside 'Lover's Bridge' may recall classic Sun Ra compositions from the '50s and early 60s. A singing organ calls some heroic horns while the flute plays on hypnotic grooves.
